It's legitimately insane that my brother printer has scanning settings that are just absent from this mobile app. It's so easy to scan from the smartphone, but I'm capped at a lower dpi than I want... for seemingly no reason. And the PC scanning app has a higher dpi than that machine settings! it's wild! there's absolutely no consistency between UI modes!

In the wifi setup, it tells you to enter the machine's name & where to find the name on the machine. Ok, great, I found the name, now where do I enter the name??!! The answer: nowhere!! There is no spot, on my phone's screen, in which to enter the machine's name. By hitting the back button to see if I missed something, just brings me back into an endless loop of nothingness. I tried the setup by downloading the app via the playstore and tried it through another ubiquitous QR code; same result.

The Brother Mobile Connect app keeps dropping its connection to my MFC printer. They are on the same network, and the WIFI settings are correct, but when I try to print anything from my phone I am unable to select the printer. It's sleeping and unavailable. I try to wake it up in the Mobile Connect app, but I end up having to download the document then opening the app and opening documents there to print. This is ridiculous and inconvenient. I should have stuck with a different brand.
